Nigerian media personality Ubi Franklin has earned his second law degree, a Bachelor of Law in Business from the University of Essex, UK, after overcoming numerous personal and professional challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Ubi revealed that he enrolled in the UK law program during the COVID-19 pandemic, driven by a desire to remain productive and set new goals.
Throughout the course, he studied various legal and business-related subjects, including Legal and Public Law, Criminal Law, Law of Tort, Land Law, Contract Law, Equity, and European Law. He balanced his studies while initially running his talk show, Talks with Ubi Franklin, which he later paused to focus on academics.
He also shared that during this period, he ran for political office but lost. Rather than be discouraged, he used the experience to strengthen his focus on education and business. He expressed appreciation to his pastor, colleagues, and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria who supported him along the journey.
