Cursory: Nigerian student Isa Salmanu achieved remarkable success in the 2023 WASSCE, earning A1 grades in all nine subjects. He stood out as the top student at Premiere Academy, Abuja, and gained attention for his impressive UTME score of 347. His story serves as an inspiration for others to pursue excellence in education.


After the 2023 West African Examination Council (WAEC) results were announced, it was uncovered that a Nigerian boy named Isa Salmanu did incredibly well.
He took nine subjects in the 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and got the highest grade (A1) in all of them.
According to a staff of his school, he is also the best graduating student of his set.
They said:
Charles wrote;“Behold our valedictorian Isa Salmanu. Best graduating student Premiere Academy class of 2023. Congratulations to Salmanu, Congratulations to Premiere Academy.”
Based on Isa Salmanu’s Facebook result slip, he registered for subjects like Economics, Civic Education, English Language, Further Mathematics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.
He also excelled in Physics, Computer Studies, and Radio and Television Electronics Works, achieving an A1 grade in all of them.
Salmanu also scored 347 in the JAMB-UTME exam, surprising many on Facebook.
