The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has introduced a new fee structure for the late collection of unclaimed certificates, ranging from N5,000 to N20,000, depending on how long the certificates have been unclaimed.
According to an announcement on the NYSC’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle, @officialnyscng, on Friday, August 16, 2024, individuals who have delayed collecting their certificates for less than five years will pay N5,000, while those with unclaimed certificates for five to nine years will pay N10,000. For certificates unclaimed for ten years or more, the fee increases to N20,000.
