In an exclusive interview, Agbogunleye described how they turned their passion into a thriving business, impressing customers with their dedication and delicious akara.
“Many are always amazed and impressed, especially because we are corps members selling akara. They pray for us and encourage us to keep pushing. Our akara has become the talk of the town at UI, with people recommending it for its uniqueness and taste, all thanks to God’s help,” he said.
When asked about their relationship status, Agbogunleye revealed they are still courting and highlighted their business success.
“Yes, the patronage is very awesome and encouraging by the grace of God. We have a large number of customers daily, and God has been faithful all the way,” he added.
Oluwatosin explained that their inspiration came from their previous fast-food venture in school, which was already popular.
“The fact that we sold fast foods like noodles and egg, bread and egg in school motivated us. Through inspiration, we decided to start something similar, and it came true,” she said.
Regarding their plans after their service year, Oluwatosin was positive about continuing the business.
“Yes, we would love to continue even after our service year. There’s no employment anywhere, so we have to create one for ourselves and, in turn, create opportunities for others. We can become employers of labor, creating employment for people,” she said.
