Chatgpt has gained popularity for its versatility and learning capabilities and the student managed to utilize it for his assignment. A seventh-grade student (JSS1) has been discovered using an artificial intelligence chat box, ChatGPT, to complete his English homework. The popularity of ChatGPT has increased recently due to its versatility and its capacity to learn and perform various important human tasks.

ChatGPT, an abbreviation for generative Pre-Trained transformer, was developed by OpenAI. It has undergone supervised and reinforcement learning techniques to enhance its performance.

Although ChatGPT is not capable of carrying out writing tasks such as composing letters, essays for school or college, fairy tales, basic music, or farewell notes for users, the young boy managed to utilize it for his English assignment.

The boy’s cousin, Roshan Patel, shared a photo of his cousin’s handwritten school homework on Twitter on June 1st, revealing that he had been caught using ChatGPT to complete his assignment.

One paragraph in the assignment starts with the sentence, “As an AI language model, I don’t have personal expectations or opinions,” which was highlighted in yellow.

In his tweet, Roshan wrote, “My little cousin Arjun got caught using ChatGPT on his 7th-grade English homework.”
