The report reveals the top ethnic groups in Nigeria with the highest percentage of tertiary institution graduates.

So, without further ado, let’s take a look at the top 9 ethnic groups with the highest level of education in Nigeria.

For men, the Yoruba ethnic group takes the lead with 29.2% of its population having attained tertiary education. The Edo and Igbo ethnic groups follow closely with 28.7% and 26.1%, respectively. Other ethnic groups on the list include Ijaw, Tiv, Kanuri, Ibibio, Hausa, and Fulani.

For women, the Edo ethnic group takes the lead with 27.9% of its population having attained tertiary education. The Igbo and Yoruba ethnic groups follow closely with 27% and 22.3%, respectively. Other ethnic groups on the list include Ibibio, Ijaw, Tiv, Kanuri, Hausa, and Fulani.
