UMYU SUG notice on reduction of transport fares within the campus
Student union Government (SUG) Umaru Musa Yaradua University (UMYU) Katsina under the leadership of comrade Abubakar Salisu Charanchi had meet with the leadership of the kekenapep riders union on campus in order to ease the hardships of the students agreed to subsidized transport fare as follows

4 Female Hostel to First Bank N30
5 Female Hostel to Humanities and Education N30
6 Female Hostel to Enterprenuer N30
7. Female Hostel to Sambisa N30
8 Main gate to Students Hostel N50
9. Main gate to Hostels with goods N100
10. School to Town (National) N100 SUG
11. Female Hostel to ICT N30
12. Female Hostel to library N30
13. Female Hostel to Science Theatre and Plaza N30
14. Students center to Hostels N20 15, Students center to ICT, Sambisa, Education, Humanities, Enter prenuer, Gate, Bank and Pre. Deegre N30
