Cursory: A UNILAG jubilates as he gets N100k from Nigerian singer, Joeboy to pay his school fees after the institution hiked their school fee.


Nigerian singer, Joseph Akinfenwa, popularly known as Joeboy, puts a smile on the face of a University of Lagos (UNILAG) student after he contributed N100k towards his school fees.
The beneficiary identified as Anjola Olanipekun, took to social media to express his gratitude for the financial support rendered by Joeboy.
This support came after the protest that took place by the student after the hike in school fees. Joeboy took it upon himself to sponsor some students and urged them to provide a a proof of payment slips to qualify for his support fund.
Joeboy tweeted:
“Unilag school fees during my time was 20k, and a lot of people were still struggling to pay. I can’t imagine how hard it is for students now that it’s over 100k. Please send me a DM with your payment slip if you need assistance. I’ll help as many people as I can.”


Anjola, the benefactor of Joeboy support shared a screenshot to show appreciation.
