A Nigerian engineering student, Moses Tijesuni Samuel, has graduated with a first-class degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Ibadan, earning widespread praise for his outstanding academic record and achievements.
Moses, who recently completed his studies at the prestigious institution, took to social media to celebrate his success, revealing that he finished among the top one percent of graduating engineers with a CGPA of 3.70 out of 4.00 and received multiple Dean’s Honour Awards during his time at the university.
Sharing highlights of his academic journey, he noted that he represented Nigeria at a global competition in China, held several leadership positions in student engineering bodies, and actively built practical skills in programming, embedded systems, artificial intelligence, cloud engineering, and electrical installations even before gaining admission.
Popularly known as “Megamind,” Moses described his university experience as one driven by curiosity, discipline, service, and faith, crediting perseverance and hard work for his success while expressing his long-term ambition to work at the forefront of intelligent systems, with hopes of one day joining NVIDIA.
His achievement sparked massive reactions online, with many social media users congratulating him and describing his story as inspiring.
