Cursory: Due to the rate of lack of job opportunities for graduates and the rate of unemployment in the country most Nigerian graduates are unemployed. This situation has forced some young Nigerians to study courses that are relevant, instead of the ones they are passionate about. While some choose this, others are forced by their parents, as is the case of the young man below, who has gone viral for showing how his parents forced him to drop the admission he already has to rewrite JAMB and study law.

A University student has cried out bitterly as his parents asked him to rewrite the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Exams.
In the viral video, it seems the young man got admitted to university to study a course that is totally different from what his parents wanted for him.
He revealed that his parents want him to study law as they ordered him to rewrite the JAMB examination.
Lamenting on TikTok, the young man noted that his life is a disaster as his parents asked him to choose the course of their choice which does not seem well with him.
Showing the materials needed for examination, he said, “Why do parents force their kids already in uni to go back to write JAMB just to finally get law”.
Crying out his frustration with his parents, he wrote, “My life is a disaster is it because am not the one paying my fees”.
Social media users expressed their thoughts as they shared their experiences with parents. They took to comment section.Watch the video below:
