A Nigerian student identified as Olayinka has decided to make maximum use of his mandatory stay at home due to the strike embarked upon by Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.


He disclosed that he has become a shoemaker, designing and producing different types of footwears.
ASUU strike began more than two months ago and it has continued to linger owing to deadlock between the union and federal government.

The young man said that ASUU gave him time to reinvent himself and improve on a craft.
He showed off a footwear he made himself and said it costs N30,000. Olayinka also prayed that he gets recognition.
”ASUU gave me more time to reinvent my craft. I pray this gets the recognition it deserves,” he captioned.
The young man added; ”For those asking or thinking about how much the price is, it’s 30,000 Naira. Thanks”
