Ashley Adams, a 22-year-old student, and her parents made history by graduating together from Texas Lutheran University, marking a special and memorable milestone for their family.

Ashley Adams, a 22-year-old student, graduated alongside her parents from Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas. This remarkable event marked the first time in the university’s history that a student graduated simultaneously with both parents.
Ashley expressed her excitement and pride in sharing this unique experience with her parents, calling it a significant and special moment.
“This is my fun fact when I meet people. Who else can say they went to college with both of their parents and walked the stage with them?” Ashley shared.
Ashley explained that her parents, Robyn and Greg Adams, had postponed their education to start a family and pursue other opportunities. When they decided to return to school, Ashley fully supported their decision.
Reflecting on her parents’ journey, Ashley said, “I can’t express how proud I am of my parents for not only going back to school but making the most of their time here. My mom became a mentor and often helped her classmates, while my dad fulfilled a dream of being a college athlete by joining the golf team.”
Robyn earned a master’s degree in Accounting, and Greg, a retired Army veteran, majored in Business. Robyn shared her excitement about the experience, stating, “Watching my husband and daughter graduate is surreal. I’m incredibly proud of Ashley and grateful for this unique opportunity.”
Greg expressed his pride and emotion, saying, “I never thought my dream of graduation would come true, but seeing Ashley accomplish so much makes it all the more special. I thank her for allowing us to share this journey and watch her grow into an amazing person.”
This unforgettable graduation day was a testament to the family’s dedication and support for one another, creating a memorable milestone in their lives.
