A Journey Fueled by Passion and Determination
Oluah began his academic journey at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2012. His drive for innovation and engineering led him to pursue a Master’s degree at UNN, which he completed in 2018.
Following his master’s, he gained recognition in Nigeria as a skilled mechanical design expert before seeking international research opportunities.
International Research, Global Recognition
In 2019, he began a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, with a research focus on sustainable energy systems and advanced modeling techniques.
After completing his doctorate in 2022, Dr. Oluah’s career advanced rapidly:
- 2022–2023: Research Associate at Heriot-Watt University, Scotland – worked on smart local energy systems
- Visiting Scholar at Northumbria University, UK
- Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Eindhoven University of Technology, Netherlands
Through these roles, he developed expertise in renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure, and engineering systems modeling.
