Cursory: The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation foundation has partnered with the National Youth Service Corps and Kudimata, an educational financial community to equip youth Corpers with basic financial skills


According to a statement, NYSC Orientation Camps across the country will receive basic financial training courtesy of the NNPC foundation.
“The program is aimed at equipping Nigerian youths with requisite financial skills for success in life, either as entrepreneurs or employees,” it read.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of Kudimata, Kathleen Erhimu, she said:
“We have identified the urgent need to form value-adding alliances to support the National Youth Service Corps SAED program (Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurial Development) through financial education, business advisory, and empowerment initiatives,”
Also speaking, the Managing Director, NNPC Foundation, Emmanuella Arukwe said once Corps members are equipped with the knowledge and skills to make informed financial decisions, they are better positioned to start the next stage of their life journey.
“NNPC was delighted to provide access to start-up resources and opportunities to ensure that our teeming youths achieve their dreams of self-actualization,” she added
