UTME Registration Update: JAMB Closes Portal,New Instructions Released

Cursory: The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the closure of registration for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on February 26. Nearly two million candidates have registered for the exam across over 700 Computer Based Test (CBT) centers nationwide. Additionally, over 260,000 candidates have shown interest in the mock examination scheduled for March 7. Candidates who registered for the mock exam are advised to visit the jamb portal for essential details and instructions.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially concluded the registration process for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

This registration period, which commenced on Monday, January 15, concluded on Monday, February 26. According to a report by Daily Trust, this information was provided by JAMB in its Weekly Bulletin from the Office of the Registrar in Abuja.

JAMB reported that nearly two million candidates have registered for the 2024 UTME, which is scheduled to be held across more than 700 Computer Based Test (CBT) centers nationwide.

JAMB further stated that 260, 249 candidates indicated interest to sit for its mock examination slated for Thursday, March 7.

“Those who have registered to sit for the 2024 UTME mock are to proceed to print out their mock notification slips from Tuesday, Feb. 27.

“The notification slips indicate the candidates’ registration number, venue, time and date of the examination and other necessary instructions.

“It is imperative for candidates to be aware of this vital pieces of information which are necessary for their participation in the examination.”
