The Wilson and Yinka Badejo Foundation Educational Assistance Programme offers scholarships annually to deserving indigent students striving to complete their higher education. Since its inception in 2008, the Wilson and Yinka Badejo Scholarship has provided over 500 scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Scholarship Benefits:

  • Selected candidates for the Wilson and Yinka Badejo Scholarship receive a cash sum of N70,000 to support their educational expenses at Nigerian universities, colleges, or polytechnics.

Requirements for 2024 Wilson and Yinka Badejo Scholarship:

To be eligible for the undergraduate Wilson and Yinka Badejo Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated Financial Need: Applicants should come from less privileged backgrounds, supported by a brief personal statement detailing their background.
  • Academic & Personal Excellence: Candidates must demonstrate strong academic performance and possess verifiable good character traits.
  • Enrollment Status: Applicants must be enrolled or accepted into an accredited public tertiary institution. Note: Students in private institutions are ineligible.
  • Previous Beneficiaries: Individuals who have previously received two scholarships from the foundation cannot reapply to ensure fairness and equal opportunity.
  • Multiple Applications: Applicants may apply for both the Legacy and the Nurturing Hearts scholarships but can only receive one scholarship if selected.
