MTN Undergraduate Science and Technology Scholarship 2025 [UPDATED]

MTN foundation scholarship 2025: MTN Foundation Science and Technology Scholarship for 2025 is still ongoing. The application is open to students who have completed their second semester 200 level examinations going to 300 level and students currently in their 300 level .

The MTN Foundation Science & Technology Scholarship scheme seeks to attract high-performing full-time third-year students studying in public tertiary institutions (universities, polytechnics and colleges of education) in Nigeria.

The MTN Scholarship Scheme is awarding scholarship opportunities to qualified high performing students who are interested in pursuing a degree program in Nigeria. This scholarship is made up of the MTN Science and Technology Scholarship Scheme (MTN STSS).

The scholarship provides financial assistance to students who might otherwise be unable to pay for their tertiary education and aims to recognize and reward academic excellence.

Three hundred and sixty (360) qualified and successful full-time Nigerian students studying science and technology related courses are awarded the scholarship which covers tuition, book allowance and stipends.

The scholarship is renewed every year until graduation for existing awardees provided they have maintained a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or its equivalent (second class upper/upper credit) while new applications, when advertised, are welcome from full time students in their second year of study.

MTN Foundation Science & Technology Scholarship Scheme Benefits

Since 2010, over 9,000 scholarships have been awarded. The scholarships, awarded on an annual basis, is worth N300,000.00 (THREE hundred thousand Naira). This covers tuition, book allowances and living allowances for one academic year.

MTN Foundation Science & Technology Scholarship Scheme Eligibility

The MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (STS):

• STEM Students in Public Universities, and Colleges of Education must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) score of 3.0/4 or 3.5/5 (second class upper credit)
• STEM Students in Public Polytechnics must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 (upper credit) from the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) Program and must have secured admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND) Program.
• Direct Entry level STEM students must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 (upper credit) from the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) program and must have secured admission into 300 level/3rd year in a Public University
