The deceased, identified as 28-year-old Oladapo Yusuf from Osun State and 22-year-old Aisha Abubakar from Lagos Street, Minna, were discovered on the floor next to a plate of unfinished food.
The bodies were found on Sunday morning after neighbors became concerned when the students were not seen all day.
Anonymous sources in the compound suggested that food poisoning might be the cause of death, though an autopsy is expected to provide more information.
Their remains were buried on Sunday at 4 pm according to Islamic rites.
