A brilliant Nigerian man, Oladoyin Ajay, is celebrating his graduation as a Registered Nurse from Ladoke Akintola University in Southwest Nigeria.

Oladoyin earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BNSc) from Ladoke Akintola University. Sharing his achievement on LinkedIn, he announced his induction as a Registered Nurse and a Registered Public Health Nurse.

“On the 30th of May 2024, I was officially inducted into the nursing profession as a Registered Nurse and Registered Public Health Nurse with a BNSc from LAUTECH,” he said.

Oladoyin expressed gratitude for the positive experiences during his undergraduate studies, thanking the opportunities he embraced and the risks he took, which have shaped his current success.

Oladoyin also appreciated the support, relationships, and divine assistance that helped him along the way. Despite facing challenges and moments when success seemed unlikely, he is proud to have overcome them.

Highlighting his accomplishments at the university, Oladoyin grew his LinkedIn community to about 40,000 followers, fostering valuable relationships and building a supportive network. He spoke at over 30 events, both physical and virtual, and led a team of 50 to organize LinkedIn Local Ogbomoso, the largest free career event at his institution, with about 1,000 attendees.

He was honored with the Diana Award, the most prestigious accolade for young people under 25, in memory of Princess Diana. This honor included meeting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Additionally, he became the first Nigerian student and one of three Nigerians to be awarded the LinkedIn Top Voice badge in 2024. He worked with clients from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia, and participated in over six LinkedIn Local events across Nigeria.

At the university, Oladoyin received the JCI (Junior Chamber International) Award as one of the Ten Outstanding Personalities in his school. He organized an education-to-employment workshop for 80 students with the Human & Social Sustainability Network Africa For African Youths to combat unemployment in Nigeria.

He also co-founded Students on LinkedIn, a movement empowering students to harness LinkedIn for career growth, and served as a brand ambassador for Circleup Tech Inc., a Canadian company connecting interns and recent graduates with top career opportunities.

Oladoyin hopes his success inspires students and young professionals worldwide to strive for excellence and aim to be among the top 1% in their field.
