Her academic journey began at Old Dominion University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Services with double minors in Health & Wellness and Exercise Science. Now eager to launch her public health career, Rachelle reflected on the importance of persistence, sharing, “Rome wasn’t built in a day. Neither were you. Build the life you want.”
She also urged others to overcome imposter syndrome, especially first-generation graduates like herself, encouraging them to advocate for themselves in unfamiliar spaces. Grateful for the support of family and friends, Rachelle is ready to make a lasting impact in public health.
