Slowendji Duroseau became the first in her family to earn a college degree after graduating from Florida International University and is now pursuing a master’s in Higher Education Administration to continue her passion for helping others succeed.


allscho Slowendji Duroseau, a passionate and dedicated student, has made history in her family by becoming the first to earn a college degree. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Florida International University (FIU).
Celebrating her success on Instagram, Duroseau shared the impact her time at FIU had on her. She highlighted how the experience shaped her identity and leadership abilities:
“My time here has molded me into the woman I am today. I am thankful for the many opportunities to grow not only as a student but also as a leader.”
Now pursuing a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration at the same institution, Duroseau continues to follow her passion for supporting and uplifting others in the educational space.
“I’ve always loved helping others, and I’m blessed to channel that passion into helping college students thrive,” she added.
Her success is a testament to perseverance, strong family support, and unshakable faith. She remains hopeful and committed to making a positive impact in higher education.
