A student-led reading group formed in university of Lagos by Five students yielded exceptional academic results, including the overall and female Best Graduating Students in Mathematics Education and a first-class graduate in Mathematics Science, showcasing the power of collaboration and dedication.


A student-initiated reading group formed during the first year of university at UniLag has yielded remarkable achievements, producing top-performing graduates in Mathematics and related fields.
The group, founded by a group of determined peers, served as a collaborative learning platform where members supported each other academically and shared knowledge. This initiative has now proven to be a catalyst for academic success.
From this group emerged three exceptional scholars:
• Ifeoluwa Olubo (@IfeoluwaOlubo), who graduated as the overall Best Graduating Student (BGS) of Mathematics Education.
• Taiwo Ajoke (@TaiwoAjoke6), who earned the title of female Best Graduating Student (BGS) in Mathematics Education.
• Midey (@mideyy_xx), who achieved a prestigious first-class degree in Mathematics Science.
These achievements underscore the power of peer-driven collaboration and dedication to academic excellence. The reading group not only fostered a culture of discipline and mutual support but also created an environment where students could thrive.
