Allschool has confirmed the release of the JAMB Resit Results; many candidates did well.

JAMB Resit Results Are Out!

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) resit, bringing relief and excitement to thousands of candidates nationwide.

This resit was conducted for candidates affected by technical glitches during the initial UTME, particularly in Lagos and the South-East regions.

The Numbers Game: A Quick Breakdown

  • Total Candidates Rescheduled: 379,997
  • Candidates Who Took the Resit: Approximately 336,845
  • Candidates Absent: 21,082

The resit was necessitated by technical errors, including faulty server updates that prevented candidate responses from being uploaded during the initial exam period.

How to Check Your Result

Candidates can check their UTME resit results by sending “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used during registration. Please note that this service comes with a ₦50 charge, so ensure you have sufficient credit before attempting to check your result.

Voices from the Field

The release of the resit results has been met with a mix of emotions. While many candidates are relieved to finally have their results, others have expressed concerns over the initial technical issues that necessitated the resit. JAMB has acknowledged these concerns and has taken responsibility for the glitches, with Registrar Prof. Ishaq Oloyede publicly accepting responsibility and even becoming emotional during the announcement of the resit.

What’s Next?

With the resit results now available, candidates can proceed with the next steps in their academic journey, including admission processes into tertiary institutions. JAMB has advised candidates to stay informed about further updates and to disregard any unofficial result-checking platforms or individuals promising result access or upgrades.
