7-year-old Kingston Lawrence, a highly curious and gifted child from the U.S., scored 99% on the Mensa IQ test—earning a place among the world’s smartest people and becoming one of the youngest ever admitted into the elite high-IQ society.
Kingston Lawrence, a brilliant 7-year-old from the United States, has been recognized as one of the world’s most intelligent individuals after scoring an extraordinary 99% on the Mensa IQ test—earning him membership in the prestigious high-IQ society.
From an early age, Kingston demonstrated exceptional curiosity and a strong passion for learning. His parents, Deidra and Kala, recall him gravitating toward complex topics and constantly asking profound questions far beyond his years. His IQ, estimated between 145 and 150, places him well above the 98th percentile required for Mensa membership.
Mensa, established in 1946, is the largest and oldest high IQ society in the world, aiming “to foster human intelligence for the benefit of humanity.” Kingston’s acceptance marks him as one of its youngest members.
Reflecting on the discovery of her son’s gift, Deidra shared: “He’s always exploring, always asking. Seeing him embrace learning with such joy is incredible.” Kala added, “I was shocked at first—I didn’t know his capabilities reached that level. It’s a huge blessing.”
Kingston’s parents are committed to nurturing his potential by helping him connect with like-minded peers and environments where he can thrive intellectually. “We just want him to find his place, to be surrounded by kids who share his spark,” Deidra said.
Despite his high intellect, Kingston enjoys a balanced life filled with imagination and fun. He loves mathematics, robotics, and dreams of becoming an architect. “It’s nice to be in Mensa,” Kingston said. “It’s probably the first or second club I’ve ever joined.”
As he continues to grow, his journey serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of recognizing and nurturing young talent. With the right support and environment, Kingston Lawrence is on a promising path to leave a lasting impact.
