A serving corps member was left deeply shaken when his fellow-corper girlfriend declined his marriage proposal during their Passing Out Parade (POP). The emotional moment was caught on video and has gone viral across social media.
A Heartfelt Proposal Goes Awry
In front of a cheering crowd of colleagues, the young man dropped to one knee and offered a ring, hoping to make their relationship official. The bystanders erupted in excitement, urging her to accept.
But despite the encouraging atmosphere, she refused — leaving him stunned and mortified in front of everyone.
Tears and Comfort
Overcome with emotion, the corper broke down in tears. Friends enveloped him in support, guiding him away from the crowd to a waiting car as he wiped away his tears.
