Brilliant Nigerian lady Precious Ogunshola finally earns a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Olabisi Onabanjo University after 10 years of setbacks and persistence, graduating with a Second Class Upper and proving that delay is not denial.

Precious Ogunshola, a determined Nigerian lady, finally earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) after 10 years of persistence and resilience. Her journey is a testament to determination, patience, and refusing to give up.
Precious’ pursuit began in 2016 when she passed JAMB, gaining admission to University of Ibadan (UI) in 2018. However, her admission was invalidated in 2020, forcing her withdrawal. Undeterred, she restarted via JUPEB in 2021, earning 15 points and securing admission into OOU.
At OOU, Precious remained focused, pushing through challenges while maintaining excellence. She graduated with Second Class Upper (2:1) honours in Mass Communication. “Delay is not denial,” she says, encouraging others facing setbacks.
The Mass Communication program at OOU equips students with skills in journalism, broadcasting, and media communication. OOU’s cut-off mark for Mass Communication is 170, with requirements including 5 O’level credits, including English and Maths.
