Elizabeth Muniru, a brilliant Nigerian lady, has emerged as the Best Graduating Student of the College of Law at Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) with an outstanding 4.95 cumulative grade point average out of 5.00. Her achievement marks a remarkable academic journey defined by consistency, discipline, and resilience.

Elizabeth began her studies at ABUAD in January 2021 with a clear goal: to graduate with a First-Class degree. She set a personal rule: every result must be better than the last. Her turning point came in her third year when she recorded a perfect 5.0 GPA in both semesters, restoring her confidence and silencing doubts.

Elizabeth’s hard work paid off, earning her nine major academic awards, including Miss Mary Adeyemo Prize – Overall Best Graduating Student, College of Law, and Prof. Mike Ozekhome SAN’s Award – Best Graduating Female Law Student. She also received awards for Best Student in Jurisprudence, Best Graduating Law Student, and more.

Beyond academics, Elizabeth distinguished herself through student leadership and service, serving as Director of ADR for the ABUAD Law Students’ Society and Academic Director of the ABUAD Intellectual Property Club.
