“The first step to rebel in this country is by not going for NYSC. That is the first step to rebellion. You people should stop that nonsense. What are you using it for? If someone told me to go for NYSC now, I would not go. Go for what?”
The woman further argued that the programme places financial, emotional, and physical burdens on participants while offering little in return.
Her comments have reignited discussions about the relevance of NYSC, a programme established to promote national unity and integration among Nigerian graduates.
