OGITECH Secures NBTE Approval for Five New Programmes

​The Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH), Igbesa, is delighted to announce that it has officially received approval to commence five new academic programmes.

​This milestone follows a rigorous quality-assurance visitation conducted by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) between Monday, 20th July, and Wednesday, 22nd July, 2026.

​The exciting news was formally broken by the Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr Abiodun Oluseye, on Thursday, 30th July, 2026, during the executive Management meeting convened at the Rector’s Office.

​Prospective students can now enrol in the following newly approved courses:

  • ND Mechatronics
  • ​ND Crime Management
  • ​ND Office Technology and Management
  • ​HND Civil Engineering
  • ​HND Electrical/Electronics Engineering (Power and Machine Option)

​The Management of OGITECH warmly invites all eligible applicants to take advantage of these exciting new offerings, as admissions for the 2026/2027 academic session are currently ongoing across all listed programmes.

​National Diploma (ND) Candidates:
​

  • Must have achieved a minimum score of 120 marks in the 2026 UTME.
  • ​Must possess a minimum of 5 Credits pass in SSCE (including Mathematics and English Language) obtained in relevant subjects.

​Higher National Diploma (HND) Candidates:

  • ​National Diploma (ND) graduates from other recognized institutions are fully eligible and encouraged to apply for OGITECH HND programmes.
