FCT Administration discharges nine COVID-19 patients from University of Abuja Teaching Hospital (UATH)


Nine patients at the COVID-19 isolation and treatment centre in the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital (UATH) have been discharged, bringing to 20 the total number of people discharged so far, it was learnt on Wednesday.
Findings by our correspondent revealed that they were discharged early on Wednesday morning having satisfied all the necessary protocols preparatory to their being certified COVID-19 free.

They were discharged around 05:50 on Wednesday.
A terse message from the #FCT COVID-19 case summary media team said: “We are happy to announce that nine patients were discharged from UATH Isolation Center, Gwagwalada today. The remaining ones are clinically stable and responding well to treatment. To God be the glory”.
The FCT Administration had discharged 11 persons in two batches and expressed optimism that more patients wou told be discharged.
