National Youth Service Corps, NYSC Notice to 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Corps Members on Correction of Names.

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released procedure allowing prospective corps members (PCMs) to correct name spelling errors and rearrangements directly on their registration dashboard. This move aims to streamline the registration process and ensure that the names on NYSC certificates accurately reflect the identities of the participants.

The NYSC has been facing challenges with mismatches between names on official documents and what appears on the registration system. To address these issues, the organization has enabled a feature where PCMs can apply for corrections without the previous necessity of involving their institution’s Student Affairs Officer (SAO), except in cases where names need to be added or removed.

According to recent updates on the NYSC portal, PCMs can now log into their dashboard and utilize the “Apply for Change of Name” link to correct spelling errors, rearrange their names, or deal with discrepancies. This initiative follows numerous complaints and queries from corps members regarding name inconsistencies that could affect their service year or future documentation.

For more details on how to apply for name corrections on the NYSC portal, prospective corps members are encouraged to check the official NYSC website or follow updates on official NYSC social media channels.

How To Correct Name On NYSC Portal

You are to login to your dashboard and request for correction of spelling mistakes and rearrangement of your names.

Those who need addition or removal of names will have to go back to their institutions of graduation, who will in turn formally communicate such request to the NYSC.

Note: Addition or Removal of names will not be attended to, until your Institution follow the lay down procedure.
