“I Wanted to Study Medicine” says Lady who broke LAUTECH Biochemistry’s 19-Year-Old Record by bagging First Class

A young Nigerian lady identified as Ruqayyah Adelakin, has broken a 19-year-old record at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH).

Sharing on her LinkedIn page, she said that she never wanted to study biochemistry. Her initial plan was to read medicine and hoped to one day be addressed as a doctor.

She also said that going to LAUTECH was not her plan neither. She only chose LAUTECH out of no choice.

She said, no one had graduated with first class in her department for long, this made her study harder to attain.

She explained her CGPA dropped in her 300 level but had to study harder to boost her CGPA and now celebrating as the only first-class graduate in the department
