Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, ABU DAC Part-time Certificate Programs Admission Form 2024/2025 is Out. The closing date is on Friday 28th February 2025. The form cost N2,500.


The Management of Samaru College of Agriculture is pleased to announce the availability of entry forms for admission into the following One-Year Part-time Certificate Programs: The form will be available from Monday 20th January to Friday 28th February 2025. Lectures start Monday 3rd March 2025.

Program Overview
The Certificate Programs are designed to equip participants with a blend of comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical skills. These programs target individuals seeking careers in diverse agricultural and hospitality sectors, focusing on self-reliance, adaptability, and modern techniques.
- Learning Approach:
- 30% Modular classroom teaching
- 70% Hands-on training, field practicals, and study tours.
- Duration:
- One academic year (two semesters).
- Certification:
- Participants who successfully complete coursework, practicals, exams, and a final project (with a minimum pass mark of 60%) will be awarded a Certificate.
Programs and Requirements for ABU DAC Part-time Certificate Programs Admission Form
- Sustainable Crop Production & Management
- Duration: One (1) year
- Entry Requirements: Five (5) passes in any of the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Agricultural Science, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Economics. From WAEC, GCE, NECO, or equivalent, obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Sustainable Livestock Production Management
- Duration: One (1) year
- Entry Requirements: Same as above.
- Horticulture and Landscape Management
- Duration: One (1) year
- Entry Requirements: Same as above.
- Catering and Hotel Management
- Duration: One (1) year
- Entry Requirements: Five (5) passes in any of the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Agricultural Science, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Economics. Home Economics, from WAEC, GCE, NECO, or equivalent, obtained in not more than two sittings.
Fee:
The School fees for each course is N38,500.00
