This beautiful black couple identified Dr. Dwight Johnson and Dr. Taylor Brooks graduated from medical school together and got married in the same week.

The beautiful couple just took the words “Black love” to a whole new level as they’ve graduated from medical school and tied the knot all within one week.
On May 15, they became husband and wife. By May 21, the two earned their degrees from the Tennessee historically Black Meharry Medical College. Now, they can be called Mr. and Mrs. Johnson plus Dr. Dwight Johnson II and Dr. Taylor Brooks.
According to their wedding registry, the pair met during their time at school through a mutual friend and it was love at first sight, Afrotech reports.
Their connection led them to dates that ranged from library connections as well as dinner and bowling before Dwight finally popped the question, asking Taylor to be his girlfriend.
At the time, he also asked her to accompany him to their med school prom in a “Love and Basketball” inspired proposal, which featured tunes from Ginuwine in the background.
Dwight shared that he was instantly captivated by Taylor’s beauty and kindness. Fast forward to now, and the couple has so much to celebrate with a career and marriage ahead of them.

“So much to be thankful for in this past week,” said Dwight in a post to Twitter. “I was able to marry my best friend and then graduate as physicians together just 6 days later. God is so good. This is what #BlackLove mixed with #BlackExcellence looks like when you always keep God at the center of your life.”
