The management of Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State on Wednesday appointed Mr Mayomikun Olawale as a one-day vice-chancellor of the institution.
Olawale, a 400-level student from the Department of Medicine and Surgery was appointed after he came out successful in an essay competition on leadership, which formed part of the criteria of choosing a one-day VC.
Spokesperson for the University, Toba Adaramola mentioned that “Olawale was shortlisted with two others who partook in the competition before they were voted for by students of the institution.”
