The University of Ibadan Chapter of ASUU has announced the opening of applications for the 2024/2025 ASUU Scholarship Award for indigent students with a minimum CGPA of 3.0, requiring submission of specific documents by January 9, 2025.


The University of Ibadan Chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has officially opened applications for the 2024/2025 ASUU Scholarship Award aimed at supporting indigent students.
According to a memo signed by the branch chairman, Professor Akinwole Ayoola, eligible applicants must be registered students of the University of Ibadan with a minimum CGPA of 3.0. Applicants are required to submit a letter of application not exceeding two pages, detailing their name, course, year of study, email, phone number, and state of origin.
The application must be accompanied by the following documents: a photocopy of the applicant’s current identity card, a letter from the applicant’s head of department confirming their CGPA for the previous academic session, and two recent passport photographs.
Applications should be submitted in person to the ASUU UI Secretariat at Mellanby Hall by noon on Thursday, January 9, 2025.
