Adanna, a brilliant Nigerian lady, graduated with a first-class degree in Law from the University of Ibadan, excelling academically, earning global certifications, and gaining professional and leadership experience while pursuing her passions in technology, design, and community service.

A talented Nigerian lady, Adanna, has achieved a remarkable milestone by graduating with a first-class Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Ibadan (UI), Southwest Nigeria.
Adanna celebrated this academic achievement on LinkedIn, describing the journey as fulfilling. Beyond excelling in coursework, she earned distinction for her final-year thesis titled “A Legal Analysis of the Doctrine of Utmost Good Faith (Uberrimae Fidei) in Nigerian Law of Insurance.” She expressed heartfelt gratitude to her supervisor, Dr. Kehinde Anifalaje, a global scholar in Commercial Law, and Eric Anidiobi, an insurance expert at AIG Canada, for their invaluable mentorship.
Reflecting on her journey, Adanna shared an anecdote about a colleague who marveled at her ability to balance graduating magna cum laude in Law while developing transferable skills in Design, Data, Policy, and Research—all within a few years. She credited her success to the inspiration from mentors whose stories encouraged her to excel across multiple disciplines.
Adanna noted that her study of Law sharpened her critical thinking and analytical skills while igniting her passion for Technology and Design. She further developed her leadership and community service skills through roles such as Class Governor (2021–2024), NHEF Scholar (2023), Head of Business Law for the International Law Students Association, UI, and as a recognized member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK.
Her achievements extend globally, having earned certifications from institutions like the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI), King’s College London, and the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI), among others. Professionally, Adanna gained experience as a Product Associate at Wakanow Group, where she worked on AI projects and digital transformation strategies. She also volunteered at Design Week Lagos 2024 and led as Team Captain in the Shape the Future Challenge by Moonshot Pirates.
Adanna concluded her reflection by expressing gratitude for her community, mentors, and faith, stating, “This journey has been as much about self-discovery as it has been about achievement. I look forward to new projects, learning opportunities, and making a positive impact.”
