Sofiyyah Abimbola, a determined Nigerian student, earned a first-class Bachelor of Law (LL.B) degree with a remarkable 4.78 CGPA from Afe Babalola University (ABUAD), placing among the top 4 students in a class of 244.
In a LinkedIn post, she shared how she initially felt unsure about achieving her first-class goal, especially after receiving discouraging advice, but her persistence and hard work paid off.
Sofiyyah described her academic journey as challenging, facing setbacks like struggling with Constitutional Law in her second year and moments of doubt, yet she maintained a CGPA above 4.75 throughout.
In her final year, despite organizing the TEDxABUAD 2.0 event, she achieved perfect 5.0 GPAs both semesters, thanks to her unwavering focus and the support of people who believed in her.
Her next step is attending the Nigerian Law School, as she continues pursuing her dream of a successful legal career.
