Cursory: Benjamin Darko, a Senior High School graduate, achieved impressive results in the WASSCE with 5As and 3Bs. Despite his ambitions of becoming a medical doctor or biotechnologist, financial constraints at home hinder his pursuit. Benjamin is currently working as a fuel attendant at a GOIL filling station.


Benjamin Darko, a former student of Presbyterian Boys Senior High School located in Legon, Greater Accra Region, achieved remarkable results in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) by obtaining 5As and 3Bs.
His father, a farmer and tailor in Bepowase, Akuapem North Municipality, Eastern Region, struggles to provide sufficient funds, so despite being a very brilliant young man, he has to get into the labour market instead of continuing his education.
The 21-year-old SHS graduate is currently works as a fuel attendant at a GOIL filling station, in other make ends meet and potentially save for university.
With aspirations of becoming a medical doctor or biotechnologist, Benjamin’s ambitions are hindered by the financial constraints faced at home
