“Can This Score Enter UI?” – Pharmacy Aspirant Seeks Advice After Sharing 2026 UTME Result

A Nigerian girl who scored 215 in the 2026 UTME asked social media users if she still had a chance of studying Pharmacy at the University of Ibadan, sparking mixed reactions and advice online.

A Nigerian student aspiring to gain admission into the prestigious University of Ibadan to study Pharmacy has sparked conversations online after revealing her 2026 UTME score and asking for advice from social media users.

The young lady, who identified herself as a science student, explained that she had always dreamed of studying Pharmacy at the university. However, after checking her JAMB result and scoring 215, she became uncertain about her chances of securing admission into the highly competitive course.

In her viral post, she asked netizens for guidance on alternative options she could consider if Pharmacy eventually becomes difficult to secure. She wrote that she initially aimed for Pharmacy but was worried that her score might not meet the expected cut-off mark for the course at UI.

The student further appealed to people online to advise her on related science courses she could study at the university with her current score. Her post quickly attracted attention, with many social media users sharing different opinions and suggestions in the comment section.

Some users advised her to consider courses such as Chemistry or other science-related programs with lower competition, while others encouraged her to remain hopeful and explore additional admission opportunities. A few commenters also recommended that she visit the school’s admissions office directly for proper guidance instead of relying completely on online opinions.

One commenter, identified as Oluwaseun Ezekiel, stated that the score might be too low for Pharmacy and suggested she consider studying Chemistry instead. Another user, Victoria Olatoye, advised her to seek information directly from the university’s admissions office because online advice may not always be reliable. The discussion has since continued online as many students preparing for admission share similar concerns about cut-off marks and competitive courses in Nigerian universities.
