In a sad turn of event, a 100 level student of the University of Jos allegedly lost his life during a Faculty Hike Expedition.


In a heartbreaking turn of events, a hiking trip turned fatal as an alleged 100 level student from the Faculty of Education lost his life in a tragic drowning accident at Etobaba, a community around the University.
The student was part of a group of other students from his Faculty who embarked on a hiking expedition along the Etobaba climbing trail. However, things took a bitter turn when the deceased drowned while trying to check out a stream along the trail.
Although management of the school are yet to confirm the news, students have been reporting the unfortunate incident on social media.
