An exceptional 11-year-old kid, Carter Bonas has been awarded a full 4-year scholarship to study at the Florida Memorial University, Florida, United States.

Carter Bonas a golfer and entrepreneur received the scholarship during the HBCU Golf Classic held in Florida, Fox 4 reports.
The kid founded his company named Spectrum Golf in the past year and the game-changing scholarship is the key to propelling his entrepreneurial dreams.
Carter developed an interest in golf after considering sports that do not involve physical contact.
According to him, at a very tender age, he was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome (which is now recognized as part of the Autism spectrum). He went from being an Autism patient to becoming the CEO of his golf firm.
Announcing the scholarship in an Instagram video, Carter said: “During the awards ceremony at the South Florida HBCU Golf Classic at the Ritz-Carlton, Tiburon, in Naples, Florida. Not only did I place 2nd! I was awarded a 4 year scholarship to attend college! See you in 6 years (or less) to get that business degree to take Spectrum Golf to the next level!“

Two years ago, Carter Bonas was a different person. Even though he was just 8, he had suicidal thoughts.
He was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome – a form of Autism Spectrum Disorder as explained on the Spectrum website — at about 10 months. He started his entrepreneurial journey by inspiring everyone to embrace their differences in mind, and in the process, fell in love with golf. The sport – non-contact – offers him a great opportunity to positively focus on his efforts.
Today, the 11-year-old golfer with autism is thought of as a role model for those on that spectrum, after launching his apparel line called Spectrum Golf.
The kid entrepreneur also empowers young people through mentorship and motivational speaking in Florida-based schools. He also offers free golf lessons for interested kids.
