The officials of the Federal University Abeokuta (FUNAAB), have shown their commitment to their civic responsibilities while in the conclusion of another phase of the ongoing COVID-19 Vaccination exercise conducted by the University in conjunction with the Ogun State Ministry of Health.


In a process of the vaccination which takes place in different parts of the university, the crew of FUNAAB Bulletin spoke with the Vaccination Team Validator, Mr. Femi Ogundoyin from the Ministry of Health, Ogun State, who stated that the mission of the team is to vaccinate the students and staff of the university since the government has provided adequate vaccination material for all.

He revealed that the team had been visiting various Colleges to carry out the vaccination as he equally commended the staff and students of the University for their massive turn-out and peaceful conduct.
Corroborating this, the Director of Health Services, Dr. Abiodun Amusan said that the instruction to carry out a Campus-wide vaccination was a directive from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to all Tertiary Institutions across the country.
