A Nigerian lady identified as Ajadi Social celebrates her achievement as she graduates from Lagos State University with a 4.76/5.00 CGPA from the department of Economics.


Ajadi Sofiat, a brilliant Nigerian student, has achieved remarkable success by earning a 4.76/5.00 Grade Point Average, making her the best-graduating student in Economics at Lagos State University (LASU).
Sofiat graduated with a first-class degree in Economics from the Lagos State University College of Medicine, achieving the highest grade point in her faculty. This accomplishment earned her the title of best-graduating student in the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Reflecting on her achievements, Sofiat expressed her joy at being recognized as the top student. She attributed her success to self-aspiration, determination, and the ability to overcome challenges.
“Yes! I emerged as the best graduating student of the Faculty of Social Sciences with over 800 students and the Department of Economics with a CGPA of 4.76 at the Lagos State University 27th Convocation Ceremony, held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024,” she shared.
Sofiat excelled not only academically but also as an individual, actively participating in extracurricular activities throughout her four years at the university. She held various challenging positions, including being the Head of a Class of over 280 students and serving as an Executive Tutor and Faculty Coordinator for the Excelminds Academic Group.
The Excelminds Academic Group is renowned for supporting over 15,000 students at LASU through free tutorials, easy access to study materials, and personal development opportunities.
In addition to her academic and leadership roles, Sofiat joined the Rotaract Club of Lagos State University, where she engaged in community development projects, child mortality and health programs, and environmental sustainability initiatives.
Sofiat expressed deep gratitude to her parents, family, friends, lecturers, and others who provided financial, emotional, and moral support throughout her journey.
Advising other ambitious students, Sofiat encouraged them to stay driven by their goals, set clear targets, and strive for consistent improvement each semester.
Currently, Sofiat is taking courses in data analysis and preparing for professional examinations. She is also interested in financial, business, and investment analysis, aiming to pursue a career in these fields.
