Cursory: Ifeoma Amuche, a Nigerian student, graduated as the top student in her class at SouthWest University in China, completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Chinese Language and Literature. She was chosen as the representative of international students during the graduation ceremony. Ifeoma Amuche, a Nigerian student, has achieved remarkable success by graduating as the top student in her class at SouthWest University in China.
She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Chinese Language and Literature and was chosen as the representative of international students during the graduation ceremony.
Originally from Anambra State, Ifeoma previously attended Federal Polytechnic Oko.
Her fascination with Chinese culture and language led her to pursue her dream of studying in China. In 2019, she enrolled at SouthWest University and quickly adapted to the new environment and academic challenges.
Throughout her studies, Ifeoma excelled academically and actively participated in various cultural and social activities. She received numerous awards and honors, including the first prize in the 2022 Chinese Poems Competition, the Outstanding International Student Scholarship, and the Excellent Student Leader Award.
Additionally, she volunteered as a teacher and mentor for fellow international students. Grateful for the opportunity to study in China, Ifeoma expressed her gratitude to her teachers, classmates, friends, and family for their unwavering support and encouragement.
She also extended her thanks to the Chinese government and people for their warm hospitality and friendship.
The proud graduate said that she hoped to use her knowledge and skills to promote mutual understanding and cooperation between China and Africa, especially Nigeria.
Ifeoma’s story is an inspiration for many young Nigerians who aspire to achieve their dreams through hard work and dedication. She has shown that with passion, perseverance, and positivity, anything is possible.
