Mr. and Mrs. Iniobong Archibong, parents of Don Davies, a student of Deeper Life High School, Uyo has revealed that the school management has begged them to withdraw the assault case against the school.
In a now viral video posted on facebook, Deborah Okezie, mother to the assaulted student had cried out to Nigerians to help her get justice for her son who had been starved and molested by senior students of uyo campus of the school.
While speaking to newsmen, Archibong stated that the superintendent of the church had visited the hospital where the boy was being attended to, alongside the school principal and other board members.
They were alleged to have gone on their knees begging the parents of the student to withdraw the case, rather than explain what had happened.
The superintendent however, expressed shock over the feeding conditions of students, revealing that N2.2 million is the approved sum for weekly feeding.
