CURSORY: Beautiful and Brilliant Ghanian law student graduates as the overall best student, and receives several awards, she thanks her family for their support


Keren Naa Ayikaakor a brilliant Ghanian law student from GIMPA Law school has graduated as the overall best law student at the recent Gambia law school’s call to bar.
She was also given several awards like: the best female student , Best Student in Criminal Procedure, and Best Student in English and Legislative Drafting.
During her valedictory speech, Ayikaako appreciatd her family for supporting her she said “To say thank you is even an understatement. Words might not be enough to show how appreciative I am.”
She also encouraged current students to persevere, be consistent, form study groups, and seek help when needed.
She said in her speech that the management of Gambia law school should consider making the regulation for International students easier.
And added that the foreign students who were called to bar would appreciate the opportunity to work in Gambia.
The lady was hopeful that her speech would cause some actions from stakeholders in the country “It is going to take a collective effort by me and my other colleagues to ensure that comes to pass,” she said.
Currently, the intelligent lady who has intentions of getting her master’s degree is in the Ghana school of law pursuing her post- call.
In her words, ”when I complete, God willing, I will have my pupilage then probably do a master’s in criminal law or tech law.”
