Finally! ASUU Suspends Nationwide Strike!

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has officially suspend the three months old strike conditionally.
They have however promised to resume strike if Federal Government reneges on newly signed Memorandum of Action.
They also warned Vice Chancellors against act of impunity, nepotism antithetical to university culture.
This is coming after our last post on ASUU read…
Finally, the meeting is over and the both parties have reached an agreement. They have signed the aggrement and exchanged documents.
By implication this means any moment from now, ASUU will meet with NEC to officially call off the strike. Allschool will also be the first to inform you!
Meanwhile, students who staged the venue for protest has left the venue expecting ASUU to make the announcement soon!
