German language graduate Oluwaseyifunmi cut ties with The German Language School after trial classes she promoted failed to meet her standards, choosing to withdraw completely to protect her credibility and maintain her audience’s trust.

Oluwaseyifunmi, a University of Ibadan German language graduate, has cut ties with The German Language School. She was offered a role after going viral for her degree, but concerns arose.
In a statement, Oluwaseyifunmi explained her decision followed concerns about trial classes’ quality and coordination, which she promoted. She handled onboarding, communication, and follow-up, taking full responsibility.
However, trial sessions didn’t meet her standards, leading to lost trust with her audience. “I chose to withdraw fully rather than continue endorsing something that didn’t align with my standards,” she said.
Oluwaseyifunmi communicated her decision privately to the school and transparently to those involved, stressing she’s no longer affiliated.
She initially assessed the school, attending classes, reviewing social media, and assessing structure. But actual trial sessions disappointed.
Oluwaseyifunmi wishes the school well, prioritizing her audience’s trust. Her decision sparks debates on accountability and partnerships.
