In a statement by his spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the Governor expressed his admiration for the headteachers’ dedication, noting their commitment despite the schools being on vacation.

Governor Yusuf mentioned that, after consulting with the State Commissioner of Education, the State Government would identify an appropriate reward to boost the morale of the headteachers and encourage others to follow their example.

He also stated that as part of the ongoing State of Emergency on Education, the schools he visited would be prioritized for improvements to create a better environment for teaching and learning.

Governor Yusuf emphasized his commitment to making unscheduled visits to schools and government projects throughout the state to ensure they are carried out efficiently and meet the required standards.

In their responses, the Head Teacher of Tsanyawa Central Primary School, Malam Ismaila Alhassan, and the Head Teacher of Model Primary, Malam Magaji Sule, expressed gratitude for the Governor’s recognition and his efforts to revitalize education in the state.
